הדרכת השיעורים מובלת על ידי יונתן אשר, בעל תואר שני בחינוך גופני ותעודות מדריך ברייקדאנס, המביא עמו 20 שנות ניסיון בהוראה. אשר הוא שופט ברייקינג אולימפי מוסמך, שפט וניצח בתחרויות בארץ ובחו”ל, ופרסם מאמרים מדעיים בנושא חינוך לברייקדאנס. לצידו פועל סולדיאר OTS, ראפר ומייסד מותג DTE, המנחה את המוזיקה על הבמה ומשלב במופעיו יכולות אקרובטיות.
The Jerusalem breakdance community invites you to a free, open hip-hop night. The evening includes a warm-up, a breakdance class, open practice on the dance floor, and an open cypher where everyone can train and dance in a positive, respectful atmosphere. The event is open to all street-dance styles and all levels. Occasionally, the event features DJs and rappers on stage. Later this year, a major national competition will be organized.
The night is led by instructors Yonatan Asher, an M.Ed. in Physical Education with 20 years of teaching experience, a published researcher on breakdance education, and a certified Olympic breaking judge; and Soldier OTS, a rapper and founder of the DTE brand who hosts the shows and open mic. The community, which includes historical crews such as Chessboard Dancers, Bishops Crew, Holy City Rockers, J-Lions, CypherFunk, and DTE, continues to focus on dancing, training, teaching, and representing Jerusalem. Additional activities include classes at the Lev Ha’Ir Community Center and a weekly cypher at the chess plaza on Thursdays.
