קהילת הברייקדאנס בירושלים מזמינה אתכם לערב היפ הופ המשלב שיעורים, מעגלים והופעות. המפגשים כוללים חימום, שיעור ברייקדאנס, אימון פתוח על המשטח וג’אם סשן באווירה חיובית ומכבדת. לעיתים משולבות הפתעות הכוללות תקליטנים וראפרים על הבמה. בהמשך השנה מתוכננת תחרות לאומית גדולה. השיעורים מתקיימים ברחבה המרכזית, למעט בתאריכים ספציפיים בהם הם מועתקים לחדר היוגה שמאחורי מסעדת וניליה.
הפעילות מונחית על ידי מדריכים מנוסים: יונתן אשר, בעל תואר שני בחינוך גופני, 20 שנות ניסיון בהוראה, שופט ברייקינג אולימפי ומי ששפט וניצח בתחרויות בארץ ובחו"ל ופרסם מאמרים מדעיים בתחום; וסולדיאר OTS, ראפר ומייסד מותג DTE, המנחה את המוזיקה על הבמה ומשלב אקרובטיקה במופעיו.
קהילת הברייקדאנס הירושלמית פועלת מזה שנים רבות דרך הרכבים שונים כגון Chessboard Dancers, Bishops Crew, Holy City Rockers, J-Lions, CypherFunk ו-DTE. מטרת הקהילה נותרה כשהייתה: להמשיך לרקוד, להתאמן, ללמד, לארגן אירועים, לייצג את ירושלים בתחרויות, להופיע על במות ובקליפים ולהצמיח את סצנת הריקוד המקומית. הפעילות פתוחה לכל סגנונות ריקודי הרחוב ולכל הרמות, ומזמינה את כל מי שרוצה ללמוד, לנוע ולהיות חלק מהקהילה. הפעילות מופעלת על ידי DTE.
Every Tuesday, the Jerusalem breakdance community invites you to a free, open hip-hop night. The evening includes a warm-up, a 40-minute breakdance class, open practice on the dance floor, and a cypher where everyone can train and dance in a positive, respectful atmosphere. The event features occasional surprises, such as DJs and rappers on stage. Later this year, a major national competition will be organized to bring dancers from across Israel to the venue. The event is open to all street-dance styles and all levels.
The night is led by instructors Yonatan Asher, an M.Ed. in Physical Education with 20 years of teaching experience, a published researcher, and a certified Olympic breaking judge; and Soldier OTS, a rapper and founder of the DTE brand who hosts the stage and performs acrobatics. The Jerusalem breakdance community has a rich history through various crews such as Chessboard Dancers, Bishops Crew, Holy City Rockers, J-Lions, CypherFunk, and DTE. The goal remains to keep dancing, teaching, and growing the local scene. Everyone is welcome to join this activity, which is powered by DTE.
