צוות המדריכים כולל את יונתן אשר, בעל תואר שני בחינוך גופני, תעודות מדריך ברייקדאנס וניסיון של 20 שנה בהוראה. הוא מחזיק בתעודת שופט ברייקינג אולימפי, ניצח ושפט בתחרויות בארץ ובחו”ל, ופרסם מאמרים מדעיים בנושא חינוך לברייקדאנס. לצידו פפי, רקדן ומורה עם 7 שנות ניסיון, מייסד קהילת סייפר פאנק, המופיע בקליפים ועל במות, מלמד אונליין ומתקלט תוך כדי ריקוד. סולדיאר OTS, ראפר ומייסד מותג DTE, מנחה את המוזיקה על הבמה ומשלב אקרובטיקה במופעיו.
The Jerusalem breakdance community invites you to a free, open hip-hop night. The evening includes a warm-up, a breakdance class, open practice on the dance floor, and an open cypher where everyone can train and dance in a positive, respectful atmosphere. Toward the end, participants stretch together before concluding. The event features occasional surprises, such as DJs and rappers on stage, and plans for a major national competition later this year. The event is open to all street-dance styles and all levels.
The night is led by instructors Yonatan Asher, an M.Ed. in Physical Education with 20 years of experience, a published researcher, and a certified Olympic breaking judge; Peppy, a dancer and teacher with 7 years of experience, founder of CypherFunk, and performer; and Soldier OTS, a rapper and founder of the DTE brand who hosts the shows and open mic. The community has a rich history, including crews such as the Chessboard Dancers, Bishops Crew, Holy City Rockers, J-Lions, CypherFunk, and DTE, all sharing the goal of growing the local scene. Activities are powered by DTE (Downtown Echo).
