Shalom follows the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem, a meeting point for Israelis and Palestinians. Through the story of Shalom the rhino and his keepers, the film explores themes of compassion, morality, and coexistence, especially in the wake of the October 7th war. The film is 80 minutes long, in Hebrew, Arabic, and French with Hebrew subtitles, and presented courtesy of Kan 11. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Meital Zvieli.
