קוולריה רוסטיקנה והליצנים בהפקת ענק

הפקה רחבת היקף הכוללת 150 משתתפים, המציגה את שתי יצירות המופת של האופרה האיטלקית: "קוולריה רוסטיקנה" מאת פייטרו מסקאני ו"הליצנים" מאת רוג'רו ליאונקוולו. שתי האופרות שייכות לסוגת ה"וריזמו", המאופיינת בריאליזם חריף ודרמה אנושית עמוקה. המופע מבוצע על ידי הקשר הווקאלי וינה-תל אביב, התזמורת הסימפונית ירושלים וארבע מקהלות, תחת שרביטו של המנצח דייויד ארונסון מהאופרה הממלכתית של וינה ובבימויה של רוזמרי דנציגר. היצירות מבוצעות בערב אחד, כאשר כל אחת מהן נמשכת כשעה ומציגה סיפור טראגי המתרחש בתוך עולם מציאותי. The Vienna-Tel Aviv Vocal Connection and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra present a grand production featuring 150 performers, including international stars from leading opera houses, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and four choirs. Conducted by David Aronson of the Vienna State Opera and directed by Rosemary Danziger, the program features two masterpieces of Italian verismo opera: Pietro Mascagni's "Cavalleria rusticana" and Ruggero Leoncavallo's "I pagliacci." Both operas are performed in one evening, each lasting approximately one hour. The verismo genre is known for its intense realism and profound emotional depth. The cast includes international soloists who have performed these demanding roles on global stages, alongside local choirs led by Asaf Benraf. The performances explore tragic human themes set within realistic social contexts, utilizing complex choral arrangements and rich orchestration to heighten the dramatic impact.
