הסרט עוקב אחר סיפורה של אסתר עופרים, מהקולות הבולטים שיצאו מישראל, אשר זכתה להצלחה בינלאומית גדולה בטרם נעלמה מאור הזרקורים. כיום היא מתגוררת בהמבורג, והסרט מתעד את הקשר שנרקם דרך שיחות טלפון בינה לבין הבמאי שקד, הנמצא בתל אביב. היצירה מהווה מסע בין מקומות, זהויות וזמנים, המשרטט את דמותה החמקמקה של אמנית המהווה סמל לישראליות. הסרט זכה בפרסי הבימוי והעריכה במסגרת התחרות הישראלית של פסטיבל דוקאביב 2026. Esther, one of Israel's most prominent voices, achieved great success before disappearing from the spotlight. Now living in Hamburg, her story unfolds through phone conversations with director Shaked in Tel Aviv. The film is a journey across places, identities, and times, portraying the elusive figure of an artist who remains a symbol of Israeli culture. It won the Best Director and Best Editing awards at the Docaviv 2026 Israeli Competition.
