קהילת הברייקדאנס בירושלים מזמינה אתכם לערב היפ הופ פתוח הכולל שיעורים, מעגלי ריקוד והופעות. המפגשים מיועדים לכל מי שרוצה ללמוד, להתאמן ולרקוד בסביבה חיובית ומכבדת. הערב כולל חימום, שיעור ברייקדאנס, אימון פתוח על המשטח ומעגל ריקוד (סייפר) שבו כולם מוזמנים להצטרף, לנסות תרגילים ולקיים ג'אם סשן. לעיתים משולבות הפתעות הכוללות תקליטנים וראפרים על הבמה. בהמשך השנה מתוכננת תחרות לאומית גדולה שתפגיש רקדנים מכל רחבי הארץ.
הפעילות מונחית על ידי מדריכים מנוסים: יונתן אשר, בעל תואר שני בחינוך גופני, תעודות מדריך ושופט ברייקינג אולימפי, עם 20 שנות ניסיון בהוראה, זכייה ושיפוט בתחרויות בארץ ובחו"ל, ופרסום מאמרים מדעיים בתחום. לצידו סולדיאר OTS, ראפר ומייסד מותג DTE, המנחה את המוזיקה וההופעות על הבמה ומשלב יכולות אקרובטיות.
שיעורי הברייקדאנס מתקיימים ברחבה המרכזית, למעט תאריכים ספציפיים בהם הם עוברים לחדר היוגה שמאחורי מסעדת וניליה. בנוסף, הקהילה מציעה פעילויות נוספות הכוללות שיעורים במרכז הקהילתי לב העיר וסייפר שבועי ברחבת השחמט ברחוב לונץ. לקהילת הברייקדאנס הירושלמית היסטוריה עשירה עם הרכבים כגון Chessboard Dancers, Bishops Crew, Holy City Rockers, J-Lions, CypherFunk ו-DTE. המטרה המשותפת נותרה כשהייתה: להמשיך לרקוד, ללמד, לארגן אירועים, לייצג את ירושלים בתחרויות ולהצמיח את הסצנה המקומית. הפעילות מופעלת על ידי DTE.
The Jerusalem breakdance community invites you to a free, open hip-hop night. The evening includes a warm-up, a breakdance class, open practice on the dance floor, and an open cypher where everyone can jump in, train, and dance in a positive, respectful atmosphere. Occasionally, the event features surprises such as DJs and rappers on stage. Later this year, a major national competition will be organized, bringing dancers from across Israel to the venue. The event is open to all street-dance styles and all levels.
The night is led by instructors Yonatan Asher, an M.Ed. in Physical Education, certified breakdance instructor, and Olympic breaking judge with 20 years of teaching experience, and Soldier OTS, a rapper and founder of the DTE brand who hosts the shows and open mic. The community also offers additional activities, including classes at the Lev Ha’Ir Community Center and a weekly cypher at the chess plaza. The Jerusalem breakdance community has a rich history with various crews such as the Chessboard Dancers, Bishops Crew, Holy City Rockers, J-Lions, CypherFunk, and DTE, all sharing the goal of dancing, teaching, and growing the local scene. This activity is powered by DTE.
