What happens when romance blossoms exactly where everything is about to crash? The classic Broadway musical-comedy The Pajama Game is the season’s production by The Light Opera Group of the Negev (LOGON). The show is set in the 1950s at the Sleep-Tite Pajama factory in the American Midwest, where a union strike against management serves as the backdrop for a comic romance between the superintendent and the leader of the grievance committee.

This timeless show opened on Broadway in 1954 and enjoyed a successful run of over 1,000 performances. Awarded the 1955 Tony Award for Best Musical, The Pajama Game has continued to garner numerous awards in various revivals over the decades, proving that the story remains both relevant and highly entertaining. The production features a collection of hit songs that have become enduring pop standards, including “Hey There,” “Hernando’s Hideaway,” and “Steam Heat.” The performance is presented in English with Hebrew surtitles.
