What happens when romance blossoms exactly where everything is about to crash? The classic Broadway musical-comedy The Pajama Game is the season’s production by The Light Opera Group of the Negev (LOGON). The show is set in the 1950s at the Sleep-Tite Pajama factory in the American Midwest, where a union strike against management serves as the backdrop for a comic romance between the superintendent and the leader of the grievance committee.

The musical opened on Broadway in 1954 and enjoyed a successful run of over 1,000 performances. It was awarded the 1955 Tony Award for Best Musical and has continued to garner accolades in various revivals over the years, proving that the story remains timeless and entertaining. The production features hit songs that have become pop standards, including “Hey There,” “Hernando’s Hideaway,” and “Steam Heat.” The performance is presented in English with Hebrew subtitles.

המחזמר עלה לראשונה בברודוויי בשנת 1954 וזכה להצלחה מסחררת עם למעלה מ-1,000 הצגות. בשנת 1955 הוא זכה בפרס הטוני למחזמר הטוב ביותר, ומאז קטף פרסים רבים גם בהפקות מחודשות, עובדה המעידה על הרלוונטיות וההנאה שהסיפור מספק לקהל עד היום. המופע כולל שירים אייקוניים שהפכו ללהיטים אהובים, בהם "Hey There", "Hernando’s Hideaway" ו-"Steam Heat". ההפקה מוצגת באנגלית עם כתוביות בעברית. משך המופע הוא כשעתיים וחצי, כולל הפסקה של כ-15 דקות.
