Shvilist

Inspired by Israeli storyteller and performer Elad Shippony’s own thru-hike of the Israel Trail, SHVILIST brings the journey to life on stage. It explores the Israel found along the way through people, stories, songs and unexpected encounters, without requiring the audience to walk the trail themselves.

Storytelling, live music, humor and cinematic visuals combine as Shippony performs alongside musicians Yoni Efrati and Matan Ashkenazi. Stories flow into songs, from beloved Israeli melodies to familiar classics by artists with surprising Jewish and Israeli connections. Written, directed and performed by Elad Shippony, the English-language production follows more than 200 performances of its Hebrew-language version across Israel, which received enthusiastic reviews and audience acclaim. Duration: 90 minutes.
