In this intimate and captivating performance, Gabriella Lev, Artistic Director of Theatre Company Jerusalem, brings to life stories from her family’s journey. The narrative spans from Munkács to Auschwitz and eventually to Israel, weaving together themes of memory, loss, resilience, and unexpected humor into a powerful theatrical experience. With remarkable precision and emotional depth, Lev embodies voices across generations, revealing the inner worlds of women who survived, remembered, and rebuilt their lives.

The performance serves as both an act of remembrance and a profoundly human encounter. Shtetl characters and voices from the past are interwoven with video and music to create a delicate and deeply moving work. In this space, memory and humor coexist, reminding the audience of the enduring strength of the human spirit.

The production is a joint effort between Theology and Theatre and Theatre Company Jerusalem. The creative team includes Gabriella Lev as the performer, with directorial assistance from Yael Valier. Stage management is handled by Alexa Solase, while the video and sound design are provided by Yonatan Friedman.

היצירה מהווה מעשה של זיכרון ומפגש אנושי עמוק. דמויות שטעטל וקולות מן העבר נשזרים עם וידאו ומוזיקה ליצירה תיאטרלית עדינה ונוגעת ללב. בתוך המרחב הזה, זיכרון והומור מתקיימים זה לצד זה ומזכירים לצופים את עוצמתה המתמשכת של רוח האדם.
