In this intimate and captivating performance, Gabriella Lev, Artistic Director of Theatre Company Jerusalem, brings to life stories from her family’s journey — from Munkács to Auschwitz to Israel — weaving memory, loss, resilience, and unexpected humor into a powerful theatrical experience. With remarkable precision and emotional depth, Lev embodies voices across generations, revealing the inner worlds of women who survived, remembered, and rebuilt. The work interweaves Shtetl characters and voices from the past with video and music, creating a delicate and moving theatrical piece where memory and humor coexist, highlighting the enduring strength of the human spirit. Production credits include joint production by Theology and Theatre and Theatre Company Jerusalem, with performer Gabriella Lev, directorial assistance by Yael Valier, stage management by Osnat Alexa Solase, and video and sound by Yonatan Friedman.
