In this intimate and captivating performance, Gabriella Lev, Artistic Director of Theatre Company Jerusalem, brings to life stories from her family’s journey — from Munkács to Auschwitz to Israel — weaving memory, loss, resilience, and unexpected humor into a powerful theatrical experience. With remarkable precision and emotional depth, Lev embodies voices across generations, revealing the inner worlds of women who survived, remembered, and rebuilt. The work is not only an act of remembrance, but a profoundly human encounter. Shtetl characters and voices from the past are interwoven with video and music to create a delicate and deeply moving theatrical work, where memory and humor coexist, reminding us of the enduring strength of the human spirit. The production is a joint effort by Theology and Theatre and Theatre Company Jerusalem.
